THUNDER STORM Anticipated Release

Virginia HenryThank you to all of you who have asked about when Thunder Storm will be released. It was almost finished when my mother, Virginia J. Henry, had a stroke in early April. She was recovering well when a series of unfortunate events conspired, and she passed away a few weeks later.

Living with us for over a decade, she had been a vital part of our family, and life has been painfully empty without her. It was difficult to pick up the story again after her passing because much of the storyline was an eerie foreshadowing of what I went through in the month of April.

Now in editing, Thunder Storm, the final installment in the Thunder on the Mountain Series,  is scheduled to be available for purchase by the end of June, 2014. Be sure to leave your email address in the space provided at the bottom of this page to be notified of its release. Book 4, tentatively titled Willow’s Secret, is already plotted and planned, so I hope to have that one finished and available by August, 2014. From the bottom of my heart, thank you all for your kind words, cards, letters, and emails.

      • Thanks, Mary! I have been surprised, as I wrote the book, how Jeni took on a personality of her own. I really like her, and I adore Miles! 😀 😀 Thank you so much for your support.

    1. I have greatly enjoyed the Thunder on the Mountain Series. Look forward to this final book in the series. Excited about the book Willow if it is already planned in your mind and on paper. You are an excellent writer, you have captured my attention with the first two books and I can’t wait to read the many more that are to come.

    2. So sorry for your loss. I’m looking forward to your new book. I loved the first two.

    3. I’m so sorry for your loss. My m0ther is 88 and in good health and I can’t imagine not having her in my life.

I’m excited for your new book to come out, I loved the first two. I’m also happy to hear another is in the making. You’re very talented, God has gifted you. Keep that keyboard HOT!

      A new fan,
      Karen

      • Because she was 93, vital and healthy, I lived in a fantasy that she would always be around. Her mind was sharp, she was self sufficient, and blessedly ambulatory. And then one morning she wasn’t. So treasure your mom. Sometimes there is no tomorrow. 🙁

Eighty percent of my book was done before she passed. When I got back to writing, it was a shocking foreshadowing of what I had just gone through, so reading it was cathartic and often healing. Even though Jeni is a little more “free spirited” than Callie or Jordan were, and I ADORE Miles, the backstory on the upcoming book has a lot of my heart in it. I don’t think I’m very objective. 🙂 Thank you SO very much for your kind words. I’ll let you know as soon as it’s available.

    4. You are my new favorite author. Love this series. May God bless your family at this time. You are in my prayers. I look forward to reading more if your books.

      • Thank you so much, MaryLou. Book is being printed as we speak. Should be available early next week! Jeni is funny and Miles is a hunk 🙂
